Managed Banking
Diverse Cymru offers a free managed banking service to all of our Direct Payments service users. This means you do not need to set up or manage a separate bank account as is usually required.
Managed Banking allows us to collect your direct payment care contribution and any top up fees. In conjunction with our free payroll service, we can then make online payments to your employees and private care agencies on your behalf.

“I feel that the managed banking system has provided the opportunity for more service users to have direct payments and this has given them the autonomy of choosing for themselves the required service to meet their needs. The managed banking system has made it easier for service users.
Many of the service users and family members who are acting as suitable persons have commented, that they would not have considered having direct payments without the managed banking system because of the involvement required in setting up bank accounts and all work required for the audit etc. For family members who are main carers these would be difficult tasks undertake whilst carrying out the caring role”
