Come Along to our BME engagement event

If you’re a Black or Minority Ethnic person and under 30 you’re invited to attend the BME youth engagement event

When: Monday 11th December at 6:30pm

Where: City Hall, Cardiff CF10 3ND

Just turn up to the event on Monday, no need to register or email ele.hicks@diverse.cymru to let us know you’re attending.

The focus will be on what you, as Black and Minority Ethnic young people feel is important to your well-being now and in the future. This could include issues relating to getting a good education, getting a job, feeling safe, being healthy and happy.

Cardiff’s Public Services Board has recently published its draft Local Well-being Plan for consultation as required under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

The ambition of the Plan is to make sure that Cardiff is an even better place to live and work for current and future generations.  It sets out seven areas for action and proposes what the city’s public services will do, together, to achieve them.

The plan can be accessed here. There’s an online survey here.

Diverse Cymru are supporting Cardiff Council to deliver engagement events to get your views on the plan as part of the Cardiff Third Sector Partnership.
