Remembering Diverse Cymru in your Will will help us continue to tackle discrimination and inequality in the future.

It is a sad truth that inequality will plague us for many years to come and, while we hope that one day our work will not be needed, we must continue to plan our next move.

You can be a part of that.

Your donation is a really important boost to our sustainability, and means we can do even more to support our projects and core work. Every day, we support hundreds of people to live more independently and to ensure that they have a louder voice in issues that affect them.

Choosing to leave a legacy gives you the peace of mind of supporting a charity without the initial cost, which you might not currently have available. There is also the potential to save on inheritance tax, which can further benefit your loved ones.

It’s incredibly important to make a Will so that you can be confident that your wishes are carried out. Making a Will is easier than you think with the abundance of online information at your fingertips, but we would always suggest consulting a solicitor.

If you would like to support Diverse Cymru, you have a few options. You can leave:

  • a specific sum of money, known as a ‘pecuniary gift’,
  • a percentage of your estate, known as a ‘residuary gift’. This is calculated once all other payments have been made. Or,
  • an item, or ‘specific gift’.

Although you don’t need to let us know, we’d love it if you did so we can thank you personally and keep you up to date with our work. Please contact Zoe King on 029 2036 8888 or email zoe.king@diverse.cymru.

When drafting your will, please ensure you use our full name ‘Diverse Excellence Cymru Ltd’ and our registered charity number 1142159.

We are extremely grateful to you for considering us in your Will. If you would like to know more about our work, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
