New Funding to expand Mental Health support services

Thanks to new funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, Diverse Cymru are expanding our Black, Asian and Minoritised Ethnic Mental Health Recovery Project which currently exists in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We will be delivering support to vulnerable individuals with mental ill health from minoritised ethnic communities to the whole of Wales.

Samira Salter, project manager at Diverse Cymru said:

“This new funding will have a significant impact on people’s lives, bringing a culturally appropriate Mental health Support service to the most vulnerable disadvantaged communities across Wales who have experienced barriers to accessing culturally sensitive mental health services.”
