Socialising and your community – Diverse Cymru engagement event

                   Registration and refreshments from 12:30 pm. Starts at 1 pm, ends 4 pm

Where:      The Learning Suite, Cardiff Story Museum, The Old Library, The Hayes, Cardiff, CF10 1BH

Welsh Government will be consulting on developing an all-ages document focused on supporting people to take part in activities in their communities to reduce isolation and loneliness. At this event you’ll have a chance to share your experiences, good and bad, any barriers and your ideas around:

  • Activities available in your communities for different diverse communities
  • Your experiences of going to community groups and activities
  • How social activities could be organised to involve you
  • Intergenerational activities
  • Your ideas on what could happen and how to support people to access social groups and activities and ideas on reducing loneliness and isolation

We welcome people from all diverse backgrounds including: Black and Minority Ethnic people, Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual people, Transgender people, People with different religions and beliefs, Older people, Young people, and Carers.
