New Horizons Mental Health is a small charity which is being supported by the Welsh Government and WCVA to recruit for the following role:

Cultural Competency Officer

New Horizons understands that well-hidden health inequalities may exist for minority groups in our area of operation (the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board area) and do not benefit from our work as they could. We are therefore recruiting a specialist worker to help us to engage with minority groups and to adapt our services to better attract and serve those groups. We’ll do this by becoming Culturally Competent, building on the support we have to achieve this with Diverse Cymru. Naturally we welcome applications from all members of the community in line with our Equality & Diversity policy.

  • 25 hours per week
  • £24k pro-rata
  • Flexible (remote/Aberdare base)
